Greg Wilczynski from St. Croix has designed a new shorter rod that is capable of handling large fish on the smallest diameter line as well as the usual small 4”-5” perch targeted in most of the WIFC events. We are currently testing .06-.08 diameter line with the smallest tungsten mormyshka in the world. We are talking jigs the size of the head on a small finish nail (1mm). Taking time to retie during the competition is out of the question.
